Top Nigerian politicians that allegedly own properties and Businesses in Dubai

Politics Nigeria: It is very apparent that many top Nigerian politicians are fond of keeping funds in bank accounts in foreign countries. Some of them own properties and establish businesses in other countries. One of the countries where some of these politicians keep funds is the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The federal government of Nigeria recently signed an agreement with the UAE to assist in recovering all illegal funds that are lodged in the country.

Sahara reporters recently revealed the top Nigerian politicians who own properties and businesses in the UAE. We shall now emphasize on them.

#1 Patience Jonathan
The former first Lady is one of the top Nigerian politicians said to own three properties in Dubai. She also owns many businesses in Dubai. Some analysts are of the opinion that the properties and the businesses are all owned by her husband, former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. They have the notion that her name is only flagged as the owner so as to divert attention from her husband.

#2 Godswill Akpabio
The former two terms Governor of the oil-rich Akwa Ibom state is currently serving as the minority leader in the senate. According to Sahara reporters, he is one of the top Nigerian politicians to own chains of businesses in Dubai. He also owns many properties which bears the name(s) of his brothers. He is clearly one of the richest former Governors in Nigerian politics.

#3 Ayodele Fayose:
Ayodele Fayose defeated incumbent governor Niyi Adebayo to the Governor of Ekiti state in 2013. His tenure was truncated after he was impeached in 2006. He later became Governor in 2014. He has a record of being the only Nigerian to usurp a sitting Governor two times.
He owns a 5-bedroom duplex in Dubai. Reports have it that he is among the top Nigerian politicians with lots of investments in UAE.
Fayose has made it known to the public that he intends to contest for the presidential seat in 2019.

#4 Babangida Aliyu
Babangida Aliyu is a civil-servant turned politician. He served as Governor of Niger state for two terms. According to sahara reporters, Former Governor of Niger state owns three properties and chains of businesses in Dubai. Babangida Aliyu contested for the senate in 2015, but lost the election to APC candidate David Umaru.

#5 Isa Yuguda
Isa Yuguda served as a minister of transport during Former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s regime. He later became the Governor of Bauchi state from 2007 to 2011. Isa Yuguda has four wives. Reports by sahara reporters have it that Isa Yuguda owns two properties and a travelling company in Abu Dhabi. His third son named Mariya was born in Dubai.

#6 Adamu Mu’azu
Adamu Mu’azu is a Quantity surveyor by profession, but is heavily involved in politics in Nigeria. He served as Governor of Bauchi state from 1999 to 2007. He also served as the national Chairman of PDP. He is one of the top Nigerian politicians with properties in Dubai. According to sahara reporters, Adamu Mu’azu owns several investments and properties in Abu dhabi.
