Chief Victor Okafor popularly called ‘King of Money’ (EZEGO) died in 1999. With so many tales about his death. He was so rich that he did build roads for government. He was one of the richest men in Nigeria as at then. His growing up story is not a great one. The reason people started to ask question about his sudden excessive riches. The house he built in his home town that is estimated to worth N500m has been empty after his death. No one tries to step foot in it. With the gold, cars etc in the house, no one tries to step in despite no security guard in the building. He is believed to have made his wealth through Okija shrine. And his death is attributed to the same shrine. 

Little is known about his family. Ezego married Laurita Nkechi, they both had eight children six beautiful girls and two boys. And they have all grown up to be successful. 

After Ezego death, a lot of controversies ensued. Kudos to his wife. It seems she did good with the wealth of her husband. It is reported that she grew his business.

The first daughter Chioma is happily married with a beautiful daughter and lives in the US. The second daughter Uche Anita who is a replica of her ageless and pretty mum studied Nursing in America and recently got married to her husband, Dr Uche Ogu who is a Medical Surgeon in the US.

The third daughter Krystabel Nkechi studied Petroleum Geology in an Accra Ghana university. A lover of fashion and very stylish. The other girls include Onyi, Theodre who all live in the states and the last one Cynthia who is the baby of the house. Same is said about the guys. They are doing pretty well.
