The mortuary attendant who attended to a choir member of St. John's Catholic Church Rumuolumeni, Iwofe, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Emmanuella Adaolisa has narrated to newsmen the first thing they saw after the late woman was deposited at their mortuary.
In an exclusive interview with BBC Pidgin, one of the mortuary attendants who took proper care of the woman noted that while they were trying to examine the corpse of the late woman, they discovered that she was a transgender woman, but she later registered as a man after she was given birth to.
While further speaking about what made they shock, the attendant revealed that the deceased until her death was wearing four different boxers in other to hide her personality and they didn't know that she was a transgender woman not until they undressed the woman. The source said, "We didn't get to know that the deceased was a transgender woman not until we removed her clothes and found out that she was putting on four different underwears (boxers) and that was how we go to know her real gender."
