Etsey Atisu prefers to be called a born writer, before anything else. He is a trained journalist, a consultant and a blogger. He is passionate about writing right and that fuels his desires to tell contemporary African stories from the angle of the African. He is avid about reading. He is also an author of a relationship-themed book, Epistles To My Bubune, which catalogues the sentiments of a prospective husband, writing to his prospective wife, concerning basically all that he hopes to see in their future marriage.
Michael Job, an actor and evangelist, according to his Facebook page, got the internet talking after photos and videos of him went viral online, showing him dressed as the blue-eyed Messiah.
It has been revealed that he was actually in Kiserian, Kenya, and not South Africa, for a Mega Interdenominational Crusade, settling the uncertainty on where exactly he appeared over the weekend.

From a series of posts on Facebook, Job shows evidence of the crowds that had gathered for crusades that he had attended in the town and how many souls were won to Jesus at those crusades.
“Tonight’s last night of the Kiserian crusade was awesome! God’s Spirit came upon all of us. People surrendered their lives to Jesus, many people were healed, and God’s Spirit came upon us powerfully in worship. Thank you Jesus for drawing all people to yourself. Lord, abundantly bless all of the 30 churches which combined to see a mighty harvest in Kiserian Kenya. Over 300 souls were saved in Kiserian. Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus for your amazing grace!” he posted.
From his social media profiles, Job is an actor, evangelist, and president at Jesus Loves You Evangelistic Ministries.
Job claims to be from Clarence in New York, studied music and vocal performance at a college in New York and was a former associate pastor at Christ Embassy International.
Although he is accused of claiming to be Jesus when he held his crusade which triggered off an avalanche of reactions on social media, it appears that the evangelist has been preaching for years dressed like Jesus as portrayed in movies. He also portrayed Jesus in a movie titled ‘Life of Jesus’.
Earlier, there were unconfirmed reports on ZN News that two Kenyan pastors had claimed to have allegedly found Jesus the redeemer, as described in Christian faith. This triggered the social media storm, sending shock waves in the Christian community.
This is only one of many instances where Africans have been spotted hailing white people they believe could be the Jesus Christ of Nazareth seen in movies – the typical white narrative of Christ handed down by the colonial masters to African captives from the 1500s.
In 2016, another bearded white man thrilled Kenyans who clamoured for photo opportunities while he was walking barefoot on the streets of Nairobi. The man who was later identified as Daniel Christos, wore a tattered robe, and held a walking stick, depicting the same image of Jesus Christ in Western movies.
