A group of ISIS fighters in Iraq, were buried alive after fleeing the battlefield during a showdown with government forces.
The brutal public execution was held this week, in Qayyarah.
The Takfiri terrorist group rounded up 45 fighters, claiming that they abandoned their positions and fled during a showdown with government forces.
The fierce battle occurred several miles from the ISIS held city of Mosul and Bashir. Government forces recaptured the city of Bashir from ISIS fighters earlier this month.
The 45 members were then dumped into a mass grave and buried alive.
This was not the first time ISIS fighters have killed its members for abandoning the battlefield. In February, ISIS fighters executed 35 members by firing squad at the Ghazlani military camp south of Mosul.
