US President Donald Trump, Sunday morning, declared America’s preparedness for war with Iran.
He re-echoed his warning to Iran not to retaliate the killing of Iranian commander Qassem Soleimani.
Soleimani, the head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ elite Quds Force, was killed by a US airstrike on Friday.
While visiting Soleimani’s family, Iranian President Rouhani, declared Iran’s resolution to revenge.
But Trump advised Iran not to attack American citizens or interests and reiterated the consequences of such actions.
Trump tweeted: “The United States just spent Two Trillion Dollars on Military Equipment. We are the biggest and by far the BEST in the World!
“If Iran attacks an American Base, or any American, we will be sending some of that brand new beautiful equipment their way…and without hesitation!”
On Saturday, two rockets fell on an Iraqi air base that houses U.S. troops in north of Baghdad.
Rockets also fell in the city’s Jadriya area as well as the Green Zone which houses government buildings and several foreign missions, including the US Embassy.
Cities across the Canada, Germany, United Kingdom and United States have witnessed protests over the killing of a top Iranian general Qassem Soleimani.
