Biafra: Senator Abaribe reveals why he’s in trouble over Nnamdi Kanu

Enyinnaya Abaribe, Chairman of South-East Senators’ caucus, has cried out over the disappearance of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

Abaribe said those who signed Kanu’s bail bond to complete his release from prison were now in trouble because they don’t know where the IPOB leader was at the moment.

He said this last night in New York, U.S.A, while speaking at the Made-In-Aba Products Fashion Show held as part of the 2017 Convention of Abia State National Association of North America (ASNA) at Hilton Hotel JFK, New York.

Abaribe also noted that the agitation for Biafra will hamper bulk sales and export of Made-In-Aba products drastically.

The Senator, who represents Abia South senatorial district, said bulk buyers and exporters of the products stopped coming to Aba due to security risks by agitation for Biafra and the subsequent military action, especially in Abia State.

According to Abaribe, “I am a Nigerian Senator and not that of Biafra. We had advised Kanu, reminding him that his rights end where those of others begin. We are now in trouble, because we do not know where he is and how to contact him. Those that support Kanu’s agitation should think twice.”

The lawmaker appealed to the people to be pragmatic and realistic.
