Pastor makes members drink ‘rat poison’ for healing

Controversial South African pastor, Pastor Light Monyeki from Grace Living Hope Ministries has made ‘sick’ members of his church drink rat poison, ‘Rattex’ for ‘cleansing.’

The pastor mixed the rat poison with water in a plastic bottle, saying he was demonstrating the power of faith by causing congregants to drink it.

He was said to have declared ‘life from above upon the water mixed with Rattex and spoke nourishment unto bodies and healing unto the sick’.

He held the plastic bottle up and members queued up to drink.

The church shared the photos on its Facebook timeline, indicating that after he (the pastor) drank from the bottle, a multitude of congregants voluntarily ran to the front to partake of the deadly poison.

This is coming after another controversial South African pastor, Prophet Rufus Phala of AK Spiritual Christian Church, Makgodu, Limpopo, made members of his church drink disinfectant, Dettol, in order to get healed.

Also, founder of Mount Zion General Assembly, Lethebo Rabalango, had sprayed insecticide in members’ eyes, claiming he was performing ‘healing miracle.
