It is with great delight that I welcome you to the month of April our Month of Divine Acceleration. To accelerate is to move faster, to gather speed and momentum. This month God shall abrogate and cancel the snail speed of your life and grant you speed like an eagle. Divine Acceleration is the supernatural ability of God to bring His plans, His purposes, and His will to pass at a much faster rate than is humanly possible. Amos 9:13. “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.” Isaiah 60:22 “A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten in its time.” Those who oppress you and slowed you down shall witness God’s divine visitation that will manifest in divine acceleration in your life. That ministry shall gather speed and move forward. Your business shall no longer stagnate, there shall be supernatural increase, you shall no more experience delay in childbearing, he that visited Hannah “again” and caused “the barren to bear seven” (1 Sam 2:21, 5,) shall visit you. This month stay focused, prayerful, committed, sinless, reading the scriptures, I see you experiencing transformation, spiritual growth, prosperity and good success speedily. I will see you at the top, sooner than you can imagine. This month whether the devil likes it or not your life shall witness divine acceleration in Jesus’ name.

What is divine acceleration?

It is for the Almighty God to grant someone speed in his/her endeavours. To receive the spirit to run and not be weary and walk and not faint. To overtake and outrun those ahead of you. It is to become a trailblazer and pace setter when they think you are worth nothing. It means divine advancement, fast forwarding, fast tracking of someone life. It is divine promotion and elevation. It is walking when others are crawling, running when others are walking, and flying when others are running.

What is the importance of divine acceleration

The purpose of God sending Jesus to the world is to see man saved from their sin. When Jesus died and arose, he commanded the disciples to fulfill the great commission. He also knew they could not accomplish it in their flesh. Therefore, Jesus gave them instruction to wait for the coming of the Holy Ghost. In Act 2, the disciples experienced the baptism of the Holy Ghost. After that, with a 30 minutes sermon by Peter 3,000 souls were added to the church. Acts 2:41. That was the first mega church. Shortly after that another 5000 were added. Acts:4:4. “Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.” The Holy Spirit gave the church accelerated growth. The major importance of divine acceleration is to help you accomplish God’s purpose faster. Are you in ministry, are you into hospitality, ministry of help, business God will help you to accelerate the process, so that people will not go to hell.

Divine speed explains a spiritual enablement and empowerment which energises us to accomplish what could normally take 100 days in just one day! This special grace gives man strength to outrun others, seamlessly fulfil God's mandate, live and reap bountifully the seed which has been sown.

Examples of Divine Acceleration.

1. The Church: As mentioned above in the case of the early church.

2 King David. David was the last born of eight sons, with one day visit from Samuel and a simple ordination, he was ahead of all his brothers. David’s household and his city had been taken captive by the Amalekites, in fact people spoke of stoning him because the souls of people were grieved against him. From 1 Sam 30:8-9; “So David inquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.” From 1 Sam 30:18-19 “So David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives. And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all.” As many reading this message now, congratulations for you shall recover all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. On another occasion David who was sent just to give food to his brothers in the war front, seized the opportunity to kill Goliath and became a leader of Israel ,a celebrity that the women found it necessary to compose God for. “Sal has killed his thousands David his ten thousand.

3. Sister R. One of our sisters let’s call her R, whom I knew in the 80s was a very committed sister. She met a brother who was also considered “Spiritual”. The two of them started dating. All of us who knew them concluded that the two will get married be a terror to the devil. However, the brother impregnated someone else and left the sister stranded. She was in her 20s . No partner came until she crossed to the 30s. We prayed and prayed. Sister R would call me in Toronto or anywhere I was, to remind me, that at age 39 all her mate had gotten married, and pressure were being mounted from all corners. But she was not moved. One day a brother that had never been married came from the USA and married her in Nigeria and took her with him. Within the first nine months she became pregnant, and brought forth a set of twins. Hallelujah. There are cases of people who have had delays like Sister R. They waited for many years and when they had children it was triplets and quadruplets! Divine Acceleration!

4. Isaac the son of Abraham. In Gen 26:12, Isaac had witnessed many years of tearful and strenuous plantings in the land without results, but God granted him speed and thereby he reaped a hundredfold blessing. In just one year he prospered and continued prospering until he became very prosperous. He outran all men in the land in resources. He became the envy of Abimelech the King and all the people of the land to the point that they asked if he could leave them as his prosperity could invariably overtake the whole land in a very short time. This will also be your portion in Jesus Name.

5. Elijah the Tishbite. In 1 King 18:41-46, Elijah the prophet of God experienced divine speed. He encouraged King Ahab to eat and drink after a long time of drought, then he called on God for rain and the Lord answered. Elijah quickly requested King Ahab to go down with his chariot before the rain stopped him. Now King Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel but the bible says “the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah” and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel. I pray that this hand of the Lord that was on Elijah the prophet will rest on us to outrun others in Christ’ name.

6. Others. Hannah gained acceleration in child bearing. Esther gained acceleration by moving from being an orphan and housemaid to becoming a queen. Joseph in one day moved from a prisoner to a Prime Minister. “And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:40 Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.41 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.42 And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;43 And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt. ”Gen 41:39- 43. It’s your turn.

How to provoke divine acceleration.

1. Go to the cross for salvation. Exchange the burden of sin for the light of God. Eph 2:8, Col 1:14

2. Get the Holy Spirit by asking the Lord Jesus. Acts 2:1-4, Jn 16.7

3. Develop yourself in your area of expertise. Trees grow in two directions, down through the root and upwards to the sun through the stem. The deeper your root the taller your stem shall become.

4. Learn to fast and pray.

5. Give honour and respect to people who are influential. Joseph honoured Pharaoh, he fast tracked his life journey.

6. Build relationships with the right people. Men and women of nobility, men of integrity, men of dignity. You decelerate your life by building relationships with the wrong people, crooks, drug addicts, alcoholics.

7. Add value to the life of others. The more value you add to humanity the more you have access to divine acceleration. During the Covid pandemic, Eric Yuan the founder of zoom became a sudden billionaire.

Prayer Points

1. O Lord let my life gather momentum

2. O Lord let my life move in the right direction. You don’t want your life to accelerate in the wrong direction.

3. O Lord let me experience divine acceleration in the following areas: choice of life partner, no more delay in childbearing (brain & biological), ministry, career, grant me speedy recovery from ailments and infirmities, make my business to boom, fast track my life move me out of rags to riches, poverty to prosperity.
