The Nigeria Police Force has advised Nigerians not to struggle or fight back if they find themselves in an unfortunate situation involving criminals.

Force Spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin gave this advice on Tuesday while fielding questions in an interview on Politics Today, a programme on Channels Television.

He also said that the police have had cases involving the One-Chance syndicate in Abuja, adding that the Force does not neglect one part of the country for another.

According to him, even while operations are ongoing in some parts of the country, other areas are also being adequately policed.

Hundeyin said, “In the unfortunate event that you find yourself among criminals, do not struggle, do not fight—just stay calm and save your life first. We can always go after these criminals to have them arrested.

“And also, we’ve achieved a lot in the area of arrests of this One-Chance syndicate. Just recently, a few days ago, we arrested the gang behind the murder of that lawyer, and the phone has been recovered.”
