Former lawmaker who represented Adamawa North Senatorial District, Ishaku Abbo, has been cleared of an alleged rape of a minor. Clearing him on Sunday, the Nigeria Police said investigations found no credible evidence to support the claim. In a statement in Abuja on Sunday, the police authorities said Abbo was exonerated after a thorough investigation ordered by the Inspector-General of Police, following a petition submitted in 2025.
