Kano State Governor Kabir Yusuf has signed into law N719.8 billion as budget for 2025. The governor, while signing the budget at the Government House on Tuesday, promised to judiciously utilise the state’s funds in accordance with global best practices of public financial management. The budget tagged “Budget of Hope, Human Capital, and Economic Development” prioritises education, infrastructure and human capital development, with 64 per cent allocated to capital expenditure and 36 per cent to recurrent expenditure.
