Nigeria - There are unconfirmed reports of the shutting down of a branch of MTN in Nigeria following the xenophobic attacks on foreigners in the company's parent country in South Africa.

Members of The Flagship, an affiliate of Edo Civil Society Organisation according to rumors, shut down an MTN office in Benin City, Edo state over the evil treatment of Nigerians in South Africa.

They also called all Nigerians to boycott the products and services of South African companies in the country.
