KFN reported hours ago that Olori Naomi Ogunwusi, had called out the Assistant Commissioner of police at the AIG’s office (Zone 17) in Akure.
Queen Naomi stated that walking away from her marriage shouldn’t take away her fundamental human rights and dignity as a woman.
Queen Naomi promised to spill the tea as she queried if walking away from the Ooni was a substantial reason to have her human rights and dignity as a woman taken.
“No woman deserves to be bullied. Walking away from abuse should not take away your fundamental human rights and dignity as a woman what just happened with the Assistant Commissioner of police at the AIG’s office (Zone 17) in Akure as a pointer to the fact that the system has failed womanhood again. Does it mean that walking away from a relationship mean you should commit suicide”.
Her sister took to the comment section to urge her to speak up.
Hinting at domestic violence, she said that no woman deserves what she went through.
Cheering her on, she told her to awake the sleeping dog.
“No woman deserves 1% of what you went through, still going through, you have really tried and enough is enough!! It’s about time the sleeping dog wakes!!!!
Reacting to it, Naomi pointed out how her speaking up would be a rude awakening.
She noted how she is the type who would rather die when pushed.
“It will be a rude awakening you know when I am pushed I will rather die…thank you all for standing by me through this difficult period, they don’t know what’s going on but God will be faithful”.
Kemi Filani recalls that Queen Naomi shocked the fans of the Ife royals when she renounced her name and role as the Queen of Ife.
The beautiful mother of one stirred mixed reactions online when she accused the monarch of being two-faced.
“I did my best to endure and make it work; many times, I smiled through the struggle, but I finally realised I had just one assignment, my son, and when God is done, He is done. He chose Saul to be king, and when He was done, He told the prophet Samuel I have moved on. Religion was never an issue between us; please refer to my interview on News Central TV. Instead, His Majesty has a picture he would love the world to see and perceive him as and another one which is his true self.
Today I announce the beginning of a new dawn and the close of a chapter. Today, I am a mother to God’s unique gift. I am no longer a slave to my thoughts of perfection. I, at this moment, announce that I shall no longer be referred to as wife to the Ooni of Ife or as Queen of Ile-Ife but as the Queen of the people and mother of my adorable Prince.”
