Chinyere Mbam of Ebonyi State, died from a snake bite she suffered while returning home from the wake-keep of her friend Oge Ogashi.

After being bitten by the snake, she was taken to a holistic healer for treatment. She was sent home, where she died.

Now, the family of the deceased has ordered her boyfriend Stephen Mbam, to marry her before she is buried. The woman had been living with Mbam for three years.

The couple had a child together. Mbam’s family members have even promised to pay the bride price at the wedding ceremony.
