P-Square’s monster hit single ‘Personally’ has hit the 40 million YouTube mark, making it the first Nigerian music video to achieve the feat.

‘Personally’ was released as the second single from Psquare’s sixth studio album ‘Double Trouble.

The music video, directed by Jude Engees Okoye and Clarence Peters, was uploaded onto Vevo on June 21, 2013. It features a cameo appearance from Osita Iheme. Upon its release, the song received positive reviews from many people who were addicted to its catchy beats and lyrical rhyme schemes.

News of the achievement was shared by Paul Okoye who uploaded a screen shot of the video on Instagram with the caption “wow!!!! 40million views…#history”.

As of February 2015, ‘Personally music video had eclipsed the 37 million views mark on Vevo.

It’s now at 40.1 million and counting.
