It will be recalled that the news of the birth of the twins was announced by Ayotunde Akindele, the actress’ elder sister, on her Instagram page, @neeceebossladyblog on the morning of Saturday 22,December,2018.

No sooner had the news of the twins’ arrival settled in than tongues began to wag about the authenticity of the pregnancy. The people who claim to be close to the star actress insist that she wasn’t pregnant, while others were vague in their responses to the IVF theory being touted.
However, barely two months after the twins arrived, fresh facts have emerged on the true story behind the pregnancy and eventual birth of the twins. 
According to insiders,they are alleging that Funke disclosed to them that her twins were born through a surrogate. According to these sources, Funke had decided to opt for surrogacy after a few failed attempts at getting pregnant.  

The sources also alleged that Funke , through the help of a close friend, sourced for the surrogate mother in Lagos,Nigeria.
Few weeks after the babies arrived, Funke was sighted in Nigeria, going about her business. In January, her husband, JJC Skillz posted a picture of himself with the twin boys in a pair carriers, at the entrance of their home in Amen Estate, Lagos.

But whether it is by a surrogate or IVF that she was able to have her babies, her fans and Nigerians are happy for her as they are biologically hers regardless.

Her husband, Abdul Rasheed Bello, popularly known as JJC Skillz, a music producer, has three grown kids from other women.
