Police Warn Celebrities Against Flaunting Their Wealth On The Internet

The Nigeria Police Force has warned Nigerian celebrities and others to stop flaunting their wealth on social media.

Speaking in a recent chat with newsmen, the Lagos Police Command spokesperson DSP Joseph Offor disclosed that showing off wealth on social media is a security risk.

However, he advised all to be more cautious.

In his words: “It’s not advisable for anyone, whether you’re a celebrity or not, to post your personal acquisitions on social media. Such a thing is very risky. And those doing that will only end up putting the police on their toes.”

Recall that sometime in July, comedian Baba De Baba, warned celebrities to stop flaunting their private lives on social media.

He added that Nigerians were copying their American counterparts forgetting that there are no witches in America unlike in Nigeria.
