Stop eating your hair or this could grow in your stomach.
It’s a five foot long hairball.
Surgeons in India were just as surprised as you are when they removed it from 15-year-old Kavita Kumari.
She had apparently eaten so much of her own hair over the past year she could barely swallow water.
Her addiction was so severe she would also pick up random hair strands and even plucked locks from her classmates, according to reports.
‘She was in a very serious condition, malnourished and very weak. She was barely able to stand on her own,’ said surgeon Dr Lal Bahadur Sidharth.
It turned out she had a rare disorder called Rapunzel Syndrome, which normally leads to a hairball being found in the digestive track of someone who ingests hair.
Kavita is recovering and will receive psychological help with her disorder.
