Police are looking for two armed robbers after they raided a KFC and assaulted a 15-year-old employee, police in Australia said.
Sydney police said that the incident unfolded on Saturday night around 9:30 p.m.
Two men armed with machetes entered the KFC and demanded money from an employee before hitting her over the head.
Both robbers left the store empty-handed.
The injured employee was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Nepean Hospital for treatment of a minor head injury.
The robbers were described as thin to medium build, and they were wearing dark clothes.
15-year-old Michelle Ereck, an employee at the KFC, said that she helped hide other teen employees in the freezer in an attempt to protect them from the thieves.
Ereck and all other 15-year-old girls locked themselves inside the freezer until the thieves left from the store.
