A female teacher was arrested on charges of sexual assault and child pornography after allegedly having sex with several students and recording the acts, police in Canada said.

Ontario police said that they have arrested 36-year-old Jaclyn Lindsay McLaren, also known as Jaclyn Jackie Jones, after being accused of having sex with four students over a three year period.

McLaren was charged with making child pornography, making sexually explicit material available to children, sexual assault on a person younger than 16, sexual interference with a person younger than 16 and making an invitation to sexual touching involving a person younger than 16.

McLaren was also charged with sexual exploitation and luring a person younger than 16. She was booked in jail, and her bail was set at $100,000.

A judge banned her from having any contact with her victims and any person under 18 years old. She must live with her parents until the end of her trial.

The Ontario College of Teachers directory lists McLaren as a specialist in teaching French as a second language. She was employed by the Belleville-based Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board.

According to the police investigation, the teacher had sex with at least four boys, aged 12 to 15, over a three year period.
