The Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC), Mr Ekpo Nta, has revealed that a student of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, spent 12 years studying for a 4-year course because she refused sexual advances from officials.
However, he according to Daily Tribune said the Commission has rescued the student and is currently prosecuting the officials involved.
“There is also a student at the University of Nigeria (UNN), Nsukka, who had spent eight years in the institution without graduating, as he was being victimised. We got involved and through us, he graduated," he said.
