Rwanda is the best place to live in Africa. This is according to a survey conducted by a US research firm, Gallup, which ranks the country fifteenth globally.
At an index score of 79, Rwanda tied with US and Bhutan. This score was eight positions higher than the worldwide average of 71.
Respondents from the 143 countries surveyed were asked questions about their previous day. Some of these included, ‘Did you feel well-rested?’ ‘Did you feel respected all day?’ ‘Did you smile or laugh a lot?’
In the Eastern Afican region, Kenya emerged second in Africa and 33 globally with an index score of 77.
