A politician has shocked many people after marrying a girl almost three times younger than himself.
The couple
Juma Kapuya, a 73-year-old politician has made headlines after getting married to his 25-year-old lover despite the big age difference. .
The former parliamentarian at Urambo constituency in Tanzania, wedded the beautiful young lady on Sunday, February 17, in a ceremony graced by family and friends.
Photos and videos posted online show the couple exchanging vows in front of a lively crowd as Juma said ‘I Do’ to one Mwajuma Mwiniko in the ceremony which was held in line with Muslim customs.
Internet users have reacted to the marriage differently, with some saying the girl has the right to choose whomever she wants to marry since she is above 18.
