My Past Nature Would Make Me Broke — Bobrisky

The 30-year-old Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky has declared that he has been raking in millions of naira as a result of his brand and reverting to his old nature would make him go broke.

Telling his stories during a recent chat with Nigerian journalist and media entrepreneur, Chude Jideonwo, Bobrisky said his reasons for cross-dressing stemmed from his desire to be rich.

A graduate of the University Of Lagos, Bobrisky disclosed that the school authorities frustrated his plan of becoming a cross-dresser while he was an undergraduate. According to him, immediately he graduated from school, he opted for cross-dressing and he hit his jackpot.

But then, he thought he would do it for just a while. Bobrisky said he planned to make money from cross-dressing for just a few times and return to his normal self. However, backing down now is impossible for him because his ‘brand’ as Bobrisky fetches him lots of money.

He said, “I finished from UNILAG in 2016, I was supposed to go for my NYSC but I didn’t because I wanted to make money…UNILAG prevented me from being Bobrisky because my course advisor was tough…after I left school, I became free to live as I wanted…

“In 2018, I bought a house in Chevron, in 2019 I thought about doing surgery but I was scared and same with 2020, and in 2021, I went for lipo and tummy surgery.

Bobrisky added: “My initial plan was to do it for a small time to make money as a cross-dresser but now I’m not ready to stop because it is paying me millions weekly….I started cross-dressing three years ago and I have built my brand in 4 years…

“If you say money is not everything you are lying to yourself, money is everything…if you want to get a good name, is it not with money?”
