In Zimbabwe: A Wedza man who set his house on fire after allegedly catching his wife dishing out D0GGIE-STYLE sex to her boyfriend was dragged to court to face charges of attempted murder.

In a State's case led by Prosecutor Memory Mandudzo, the court heard that Tendai Chitumba (43) of Mushandira Business Centre, on 12 February reportedly heard her wife sweating it out, while having hot sex with her boyfriend and set his house on fire with the aim of burning the cheaters to death together with their two children.

The court heard that around 10pm, Chipo Tamaleya, who is the complainant, said she saw that the house had caught fire and went outside to make sure that they get assistance from outside. It is alleged that upon getting out of the burning house, she noticed that her husband was holding a petrol container near the door.

The woman claimed that she was not having sex with Persuade Mbatya, the man who is said to be her boyfriend. The man is said to be a police officer and Chipo said she resorts to Persuade when in danger because he is a policeman.

The court heard that the accused started pulling his wife to the nearby bush and she was only found around 3am the following day with injuries, 3km away from their homestead.

Responding to the claims, the angry man said he never started the fire, but agreed that he bashed his wife as punishment for cheating on him with a police officer.

Magistrate Clever Tsikwa is presiding over the case and trial continues next week.
