An angry lady, identified as Josephine Oriwoh, who allegedly poured hot water on her lover, Charles Ajayi, for jilting her is currently cooling her heels in custody of the Lagos State Police Command.

Josephine reportedly committed the act at Owutu, Ikorodu area of the state.  It was gathered that both Josephine and Ajayi are students of a university in Edo State.

On the day of the incident, Ajayi and his new lover, identified as Ogechi, were said to have heated water while they were lying on a bed in a room in the house.

Josephine, who was reportedly irked on sighting Ajayi with Ogechi, was said to have barged into the room at about 6am and emptied the hot water on the two lovers while in bed.

As a result of the attack, Ajayi sustained some burns on his back and face while Ogechi’s back was slightly affected.

The incident was reported at the Owutu Police Division, and Oriwoh was consequently apprehended.

While narrating the incident, Ajayi said, “It is true that we both dated. While we were in the relationship, I spent and sacrificed so much, but I did not find real love in her. That was why I quit the relationship.

“On Saturday, we both came for the wedding. There was light in the house, and then it went off, and the generator was put on. That was around 4 am in the morning, I was in the room with Ogechi. We were heating water to take our bath. I just noticed that she opened the room and poured the water on us.”
