The Nigerian Army has confirmed the rescue of another Chibok girl barely less than 72 hours after Amina Ali Nkeki, the first of the 219 girls who were abducted on April 14, 2014, was rescued.
Army spokesman Colonel Sani Usman confirmed the rescue of another Chibok girl this evening in a brief statement hours after Buhari’s meeting with Amina Ali at the presidential villa, Abuja.
According to the statement, further details on the release would be given soon.
Amina, who was discovered by civilian vigilantes and troops on Tuesday, today met with President Muhammadu Buhari with her mother, Binta.
