Nigeria the Hammer of House of Horror: Ritual Killings bringing a curse upon the nation - Evangelist Isaac Ivbaze

When the God of creation, Elohim, Yahweh, Jehovah visited Moses on mount Sanai, He used His fingers to inscribe the laws that would be the guiding principles to human conduct on a tablet. It was called the Ten Commandments. Among the Ten Commandments was "thou shalt not kill" This can be found in Exodus 20: 13. The life of every human being resides in his or her blood. The blood is sacred, because it is the driving force that propels the spirit in man and without it, there is no life. There is life in the blood. That was the reason why in the Old Testament, sacrifices were made to God with the blood of animals. When it was time for God to put a finishing touch to the use of animal blood sacrifices, He sent His son into the world. The crucifixion of Christ on the cross and the blood He shed became the ultimate sacrifice for the redemption of man. With the blood of Christ there is forgiveness of sins for those that would repent and forsake their wicked ways because there is power in that blood. The blood as powerful as it is, has the power to speak. Genesis 4: 8 "And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. 9 And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper? 10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground. 11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand; 12 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth" Hear what the lord said to Cain, "the voice of thy brother's blood creith unto me from the ground". In this episode, Cain thought he had succeeded in killing his brother without realizing that his brother was not really dead but still alive. In this case Abel was very much alive in the spirit realm where his blood cried unto the Lord for vengeance. God promptly responded and Cain was cursed with a curse.

All Nigerians must understand that the nation, as it is today, is cursed by the sovereign Lord. The God of heaven and earth has cursed Nigeria for the blood of hundreds and thousands of children, men and women that had been slaughtered for sacrifices to the devil for power and money. The wrath of God against Nigeria is fueled by the government complacency and it's unwillingness to bring these maniacs to justice. The complicity of the law enforcement agents and the judicial corruption and malfeasance have further compounded the problem. The rate of ritual killings in Nigeria cannot be quantified. It is so alarming, it is beyond human imagination. The blood of these Nigerians killed for rituals are crying out to God almighty. They are calling for vengeance upon the nation and the God of heaven and earth, the creator of all things has heard their cries. He has placed a curse upon Nigeria. The genesis of human sacrifices started in Africa by the ancestors. Although they were wrong in their own time, it was punishment meted to those that had desecrated the land. However Africa is still going through the devastating effect from the curse placed upon the continent by God as a result of this abomination committed centuries ago. Just few years before 1976, Secret societies had become clandestine organizations with high level public officials, judges, lawyers and some business men and women who had registered to become members. It was believed that in order to rise to some position of echelon in public establishments and to achieve high degree of success in business one must belong to one of the well-known secret societies. Among the secret cults was Ogboni fraternity and it was rumored that the members of this cult and others, were involved in the kidnapping and killing of individuals for security, wealth, and power. Although the members denied the allegation, one could remember that at that time there were people who were randomly kidnapped and their bodies were later found on the streets with their vital organs extracted. It appeared as if the government of General Gowon at the time was complicit until he was overthrown by Murtala Muhammed in 1976. As if God had answered the prayer of Nigerians, one of the first decrees or rules that Murtala Muhammed implemented was the ban on all secret societies in the country. All civil servants, Judges, Lawyers, and government officials belonging to these cults were asked to renounce their membership or face immediate termination. Within six months all buildings belonging to Ogboni fraternity, Harikrishnas, and other cults were raided and abandoned and their members sent into reclusion. All activities from the societies were spurned and eventually abrogated. Sanity was again restored to the nation. It was an indelible accomplishment that will continue to linger on the legacy of Murtala Muhammed.

The story of ritual killings would not be heard again until 1999 with the return of democratic rule. The level of lawlessness, impunity, and corruption that had greeted the nation since 1999 has left everyone wondering if democracy has brought madness to Nigeria rather than sanity. Nigerians are wondering if this is what democracy is all about. While there are few God fearing politicians in Nigeria, it may well be a fact for others who believe that in order to become successful in vying for high position of authorities, one must be fortified spiritually to avoid been assassinated or defeated by opponents who may be competing for the same positions. In order to do this, some politicians have resulted to consulting with witch doctors who sometimes would request the sacrifices of the human blood for spiritual fortification. Although there are lots of hard working Nigerians making honest living, there are some who still believe in the power of spirit entities called deities inherited from the ancestors who they must appease with human sacrifice if they must be successful in their businesses or political endeavors. It is not surprising therefore, that these Nigerians in various field of endeavors, politics, religion, movie industry, music, and businesses are all involved in this despicable act. This is done to pave way for power, fame and wealth, and these Nigerians are prepared to kill and they are killing to accomplish it. These are the Nigerians that have brought a curse upon the nation.

The land of Nigeria is desecrated. The consequences of this heart breaking atrocities had already begun to affect all Nigerians, the rich and poor and those in the diaspora. This is a sin against God and man. As it was in the case of Cain and Abel, in genesis 4: 8-12, the land that receives the blood of the innocents shall be cursed. Out of every 5 black people in diaspora one is a Nigerian. Many Nigerians have become destitute and vagabonds in foreign nations. Many have become beggars on the street in these nations. Some married and unmarried women have become prostitutes in countries around the world. Many have lost hope of returning back to their homeland. Some have lost their families through divorce, and many have died in the process. This is because the rate of unemployment in Nigeria is 90 percent and the nation has become one of the most unsafe places to live in Africa. Insecurity has crippled the peace and tranquility of the nation. Recently a Nigerian refugee in Italy who was scheduled to be deported to Nigeria scampered to the roof of a five story building and jumped to his death. This young man's story is just one of many quagmires Nigerians go through in foreign countries and many of these Nigerians would rather commit suicide than to return back to homeland. Nigeria is cursed because the blood of the innocent Nigerians spilled upon the land has brought miseries and sufferings to the people both home and abroad. This is the reason the nation had been stagnated for decades without any meaningful progress. The reason the leaders have lost their minds and have become oblivious to the poverty, miseries, and sufferings of the people. They have become vultures causing damages and wreaking havocs upon the nation.Ritual killings has become a big business in Nigeria. Across the country human parts are been sold for whatever reasons. For some time now, there has been news of home invasions in Ikorodu area of Lagos by Badoo Cult members. Members of the cult are promised five hundred thousand naira for every handkerchiefs soaked with the blood of their victims to the buyer. It is believed that the blood of these unfortunate Nigerians are used by the witch doctors for various purposes for their clients. Over the years there had been several people arrested for running baby factories in the west and eastern part of the country. Investigation had revealed that girls between the ages of 13-20s are hired and paid to have babies and after that, they must relinquish their right to those babies. These babies are in turn sold to individuals across the country possibly for ritual purposes. About two years ago, the pictures of three young boys buried in the foundation of a proposed building which was to be used for a church in Enugu State were shown on the media. It was a gruesome sight. Recently there were pandemonium in some places in Lagos and Ogun state respectively where ritualist dens and the carcasses of their victims were found. There had been gory stories of those who were kidnapped by ritualists but by divine intervention they were able to escape from their captors. In 2016, a pastor by the name Ernest Okonkwo the general overseer of Holy Family Ministry, also known as house of mercy was busted in Ikorodu, Lagos. It was discovered that this pastor was running a ritual den in his Church. everal haggard looking people were found incarcerated in his enclave waiting to be slaughtered for potential buyers. The stories of young promising Nigerians murdered by ritualist have continued to dominate the Media on a frequent basis. The mystery of the three missing students of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo State were solved with the arrest of three young men who confessed to the crime. They confessed to have kidnapped the young girls, killed them, extract their body parts and sold them to ritualist for 15 million naira. Last year, a lady who escaped from a ritualist den gave a heart wrenching story of the horrors that asphyxiate in the valley of death. She explained how a group of people were chained in a dark room and among them was a woman with four children. She had had a conversation with the distressed woman who narrated her ordeal and told her that she was kidnapped with her four children while on their way to church on Sunday somewhere in Lagos. Most painful was the fact that one of the four children had already been slaughtered and the rest were simply waiting for their turn.

I read the story of the former press secretary to Goodluck Jonathan, Reuben Abati published on October 14, 2016. According to Abati he expressed his feelings based on his experience in Aso Villa and how he thinks Aso Rock is filled with evil spirits. According to him, these spirits must have been the ones that are driving the nation in the wrong direction. Here is his own words, "When a policy is introduced, somehow, something just goes wrong. In our days, a lot of people used to complain that the APC people were fighting us spiritually and that there was a witchcraft dimension to the governance process in Nigeria. But the APC folks now in power are dealing with the same demons. Since Buhari government assumed office, it has been one mistake after another. Those mistakes don't look normal, the same way they didn't look normal under President Jonathan. I am therefore convinced that there is an evil spell enveloping this country. We need to rescue Nigeria from the forces of darkness. Aso Villa should be converted into a spiritual museum, and abandoned"- Reuben Abati. Although his story was discounted by Mr. Adesina, the current press secretary to Buhari, there are some elements of truth in it. The precarious situation that is bedeviling president Buhari in this office gives credence to Abati's claim. A president with the best intension ever in the history of Nigeria is rendered incapacitated by mysterious illness. It is obvious that president Buhari is completely absent from himself. The most horrible damage that had been done to Nigeria is that Nigerians have become their own enemies. The level of hate among Nigerians from different ethnic and religious groups has not only reached a dangerous climax, it has resulted to self-destruction. Nigerians are consciously or unconsciously destroying themselves and their nation. While the people languish in abject poverty, the politicians are busy embezzling public funds in billions and taking these funds to the Middle East and western nations where the monies are used for investment by been loaned to business men and women. These are nations where it is impossible for a black man or woman to obtain any reasonable loan for whatever purpose. These are the nations that discriminate and see blacks as inferior and subhuman and yet Nigerian leaders have continued to lodge stolen funds in their domain.

The reason for this is the curse placed upon the land. Nigerians have continued to live in delusion hoping that things would get better. It is rather going to get worse because whatever a man sows is what is going to reap. Nigerians have killed and sown the blood of innocent children, men and women and therefore must continue to reap the consequences until restitution is made and the problem is dealt with, decisively. If the government would adhere to this simple piece of advice, Nigerians may begin to see light emanating from the darkness. This is not a matter of fasting and prayers because lots of Nigerian Christians and Muslims are insincere, deceptive and not serious with God, and some fake men of God have also shed blood. They are part of the hydra-headed problems confronting the nation. This is the reason, why in spite of the numerous churches and mosques littered around the nation, the rate of corruption, crimes and the sufferings of Nigerians have skyrocketed. The Churches in Nigeria have become shadows of themselves oblivious of the fact that God has shut His door against them. Therefore fasting and praying is only going to compound the problem.

The solution to this problem may not be easy but it is possible. First, the source of the problem must be identified. From all indications it is obvious that the witch doctors are the main culprits in this case. They are the ones who have continued to promise their clients that they could give them the magic to obtain power and wealth by the use of human body parts. So the root of this problem lies in the hands of all witch doctors popularly known as native doctors in Nigeria and therefore in order to eradicate this problem, all witch doctors in the country must be rooted and fished out of their hide out. Their shrines must be destroyed and they must be given stern warnings to desist from practicing evil or face death or life imprisonment. The government must be resolute in handling this problem. Since the Nigerian judiciary has failed the nation, and judges have joined the criminal enterprise, a tribunal must be setup to be headed by both SSS and military officers and anyone found in connection with human parts, the witch doctors, and the buyers must be condemned to death. Any Nigerian who is not affected by this tragedy, must not have been awoken to the reality of the situation in the country. History has documented that western nations were faced with similar horrific situation in their early civilization until they took decisions to start killing witches and wizards. Between 15th and 18th century, several trials were held in different parts of Europe and America for witches and wizards. It was estimated that about 50,000 witches were hanged, beheaded and burned in Europe and America. To some extent, one is forced to believe that this act of killing may have helped to pave way to social economic advancement of these countries. http://www.history.com/news/ask-history/were-witches-burned-at-the-stake-during-the-salem-witch-trials. Here are some of the list of witches condemned to death according to Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_people_executed_for_witchcraft

Although no one is suggesting the killing of individuals accused of witchcraft in Nigeria, attention must be given to those who practice witch craft and those who patronize them. It is agreeable that mere accusation without credible proof may result to death of innocent people but witch doctors who must not relinquish their nefarious demonic activities must face death sentence. May the spirit of those who died by ritual killing rest in peace.
