Adeyinka Grandson, a ‘Yoruba Supremacist’ jailed for attacks against Igbo and Fulani, has been released from prison by UK Authorities.

Adeyinka’s Grandson was sentenced to four and a half years in prison by Southwark Crown Court in Central London, United Kingdom, in April 2022 for his social media remarks disparaging certain ethnic communities in Nigeria.

In August 2019, he was arrested by the Scotland Yard Counter Terrorism Command and the Metropolitan Police, with the sanction of the Westminster Magistrates Court in London.

Scotland Yard Counter Terrorism Command apprehended him for reportedly “stirring racial discrimination” against the Igbo and Fulani ethnic groups, as well as “encouraging terrorism.

On multiple occasions, he issued ‘quit notices’ to Igbos living in Yoruba territory, warning them that they would suffer serious penalties. Grandson was also renowned for making anti-Igbo and anti-Fulani rants on his YouTube channel, which the UK authorities had repeatedly warned him about before he was eventually detained.
