DAILY POST has just received information from Ondo State that the ancient Kingdom of Akure Kingmakers have elected a new Deji of Akure.
According to the information, the newly elected Deji of Akure is now Kole Aladetoyinbo.
His appointment however is yet to be confirmed by the State Government. Meanwhile, available report says the process which produced him was concluded this morning.
The winner contested the stool with 12 other princes.
The Deji’s stool became vacant following the death of Oba Adebiyi Adesida on December 1, 2013.
Since then, the late king’s daughter, Princess Adetutu Adesida Ajei has been acting as the regent of the town.
