Melinda Gates, the wife of the richest man in the world for the 16th time, Bill Gates, was pictured on Saturday washing plates in a village in Malawi.
She’s seen with a 20-litre bucket of water on her head alongside two other Malawian women, walking on an untarred road.
Melinda, who describes herself as a philanthropist, businesswoman, mother, passionate advocate for women and girls, shared the photos on her Instagram page.
Mr Gates’ net worth rose by just over $3bn (£1.94bn) in the year to 13 February, to $79bn, according to Forbes magazine’s annual list of the world’s billionaires.
