Reports reaching us from Chad say the court has administered a capital punishment to Boko Haram fighters captured in the country.
According to Trust.org, Chad has sentenced 10 members of Nigeria-based Islamist militant group Boko Haram to death on terrorism charges, judicial sources said on Friday.
"They are all sentenced to death," said one of the sources.
Chad's capital N'Djamena, less than 100 kilometres from the Nigerian border, was hit by a series of suicide bombings in June and July that killed more than 40 people.
It should be noted that the Boko Haram sect has been operating in Nigeria since the year 2009 and have killed thousands of people in their reign of terror.
