Cameroonian President Approves The Use Of Witchcraft In Fighting Boko Haram

The president of Cameroon, Paul Biya, has asked Chiefs of one of the country’s regions to go ahead and use witchcraft in combating Boko Haram.

This is coming after Chiefs from the Cameroon’s Northern Region recently requested approval from the president to use witchcraft in finishing the terror sect.

According to Cameroonian journalist Chief Bisong Etahoben who broke the news, the chiefs have gotten the approval the sought.

The journalist on Tuesday tweeted that Far North Governor Midjiyawa has revealed that: “The head of state has demanded that an aspect of witchcraft be integrated into the fight against Boko Haram.”

Boko Haram has been a menace, both in Cameroon and Nigeria. Despite joint efforts from over 5 countries to fight the terror group; Boko Haram has always remained strong.

The Nigerian government has employed all the tactics to neutralize the group but Buhari’s efforts have not yielded fruit, leaving the group chest thumping time after time, especially after conducting series of attacks.
