CCTV camera captures men raping sheep

Court rejects plea for legalisation of bestiality as CCTV camera captures men raping sheep.

A German court has thrown out a case by two individuals only identified as Mr F and Mrs S. According to ABC News, the pair had filed for the withdrawal of a law that bans sexual activities with animals claiming that it violated their right to "sexual self-determination."

In making the ruling, the court termed protecting animals from sexual assault as "a legitimate aim".

The offence is labelled as a misdemeanour and can fetch Ksh 2 million fines.

This is not the first time that cases of bestiality in Germany have hit news headlines.

A headline ran by Daily Mail in 2013 read in part: “Bestiality brothels are spreading through Germany,” highlighting one case where a farmer noticed his once friendly flock of sheep was beginning to shy away from human contact.

He decided to install CCTV cameras in his barn which captured several men sneaking in during the night to sexually abuse the animals.
