Be like Solomon of the Bible and marry many wives - Polygamy President of Kenya

Polygamy president of Kenya, Raphael Brave Magero, shamed monogamous men for failing to take on more wives

– He also gave them tips on how to subdue first wives in order to bring in more wives

– He was elected president in October 2014 by an organization that operates in Mumias

A Kenyan ‘proclaimed’ president of polygamy, Raphael Magero, shamed monogamous men for fearing to take on second wives even after the Marriage Act 2014 of the constitution allowed them to do so.

“Men are cowards. Be like Solomon of the Bible and marry many wives openly instead of having mipango wa kando and engaging in prostitution,” said Magero.

He also tipped monogamous men on how to bring in second wives even if their first wives will cause drama.

“Keep the first wife busy so that she will forget a new woman is in the home. Ensure she gets a venture which will tighten her schedule that makes her leave early in the morning and returns late at night,

“This kills her psychologically and subsequently, her fighting spirit. Before she knows it the second wife will already be settled in,” said Magero as quoted in the Standard.

Magero confessed to have had difficulties bringing in his second wife but soon subdued his who had to accept his decision.

It is quite possible he acquired the appetite for many wives from his father whom hhe said had a successful polygamous marriage with five wives.

Raphael Brave Magero was elected president of a polygamous organization in Mumias in October 2014. The organization is said to meet twice a month to discuss polygamy issues, women’s rights and domestic violence.
