Oshoala will shine in Canada - Pepertual Nkwocha unveils Oshoala's sterling qualities

Four-time African Women Footballer of the year, Perpetua Nkwocha, has tipped Liverpool Ladies striker, Asisat Oshoala to shine at the FIFA Women World Cup in Canada.

The SwedishDamallsvenskanclub Sunnanå SK player said that she has what it takes to be the best in the world if she remains focused and disciplined.

The 39-year old, who has participated in the 2003 and 2007 FIFA Women's World Cups and the Olympic tournaments of 2000, 2004, and 2008 is with the Super Falcons in Toronto in preparation for her fourth World Cup finals, and she has said that Asisat is a young talent with a great future, noting that she has the talent to achieve a lot more with a bit of hard work and composure.

"Seeing Asisat play reminds me of my hey days. She has shown that she can do better than me by becoming Africa's Best Woman Footballer at just 20 years of age and the world's best young footballer. Now she has been named BBC Women's Footballer of the Year. She is heading in the right direction and I see her being among the best in the world in no distant time.

"I believe she is an improved version of me and I see her getting better and picking up personal and club awards along the line, but she must work hard. I saw her play in Namibia at AWC and I must confess that I marveled at her skills, pace and confidence with the ball . I will continue to pray for her so that she could last and do better in the game than I did," said Nkwocha who has been on the scene for 15 years." NFF
