Nigeria's Senate President Bukola Saraki has been blocked from presiding at the senate.
This follows the announcement of the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Justice Umar Danladi, who ruled that the former's corruption trial will be held on a daily basis.
The trial will hold from 10 am to 6pm every day, the judge ruled. The duration of the trial will stop Saraki from presiding over Senate plenary, which holds on Tuesdays to Thursdays in the afternoon.
Sen. Ike Ekweremadu, his deputy, is expected to preside tomorrow.
