Suspended member of the House of Representatives, Abdulmumin Jibrin, on Thursday revealed that Nigeria’s greatest problem was corruption.
The lawmaker alleged that Nigerian leaders preach against corruption in the day, but demand for bribe at night.
The suspended lawmaker also called on the Supreme Court to interpret the powers of the National Assembly and how it should be exercised.
In a series of tweets on his Twitter handle, Jibrin wrote: “The problem of Nigeria is that most of our so called leaders are corrupt…they preach in day time but up at night looking for bribes. SAD”
“I am now convinced that the supreme court should give a further interpretation of the powers of NASS and how such powers should be exercised.”
