Emerging reports have it that Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye and one Philips Tanimu Aduda representing the Abuja Federal Capital Territory presided over the sharing of bribe from an undisclosed source to block the Senate confirmation of Ibrahim Magu as EFCC Chairman.

More drama has begin to emanate from the second rejection of the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu by the Nigerian Senate.
A couple of reasons ranging from a discrediting report by the Department of State Security and below par performance during the screening session have been attributed to the second rejection of Magu.
Controversial online news platform, Sahara Reporters has however, alleged the lawmakers were induced with money to block the confirmation of Magu as the EFCC boss.
The criminal operation has been linked to two lawmakers namely, Senator Dino Melaye (All Progressives Congress) and Senator Philips Aduda (People's Democratic Party) who reportedly organised the surreptitious sharing of funds among the Senators with the goal to victimize Magu.
It would be recalled that Melaye was the arrowhead of the team of Senators who 'grilled' Magu during the screening session as he introduced the DSS report that concluded that Magu failed an 'integrity test'.
