Photos have emerged on social media showing the moment a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Senator Shehu Sani, was languishing in prison in 1995.

Nigerian senator, playwright and human rights activist, Senator Shehu Sani, who is representing Kaduna constituency at the Senate, has taken to his Twitter page to share some throw-back photos that many have never seen before.
The influential politician who is President of the Civil Rights Congress of Nigeria, posted some photos showing him languishing in his Prison cell in Aba, Abia state in 1995 while serving a 15 year sentence for treason against the military junta.
Senator Shehu Sani posted the photos and wrote; "In my Prison Cell,Aba Abia state in 1995 serving 15 year sentence for;
