The All Progressives Congress’ members of the Ekiti House of Assembly, who have grown increasingly emboldened since the victory of President-elect Muhammadu Buhari on March 28, met today and sent a letter to the state’s Chief Judge directing him to open an investigation into allegations of misgovernance by Governor Ayodele Fayose.
The governor is being accused by the lawmakers of breaching certain provisions of the Constitution.
In the letter which was signed by Speaker Adewale Omirin, the lawmakers asked the chief judge to investigate alleged breaches by the governor in accordance with Section 188 of the Constitution.
