The Nigerian Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has spoken out after his helicopter crash-landed in Kogi state.
Osinbajo waves to supporters in Kogi
Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Nigeria's number two man, has said that he is fit and well after surviving a helicopter crash today.
The Vice President took to his verified Twitter page to speak to Nigerians after the incident.
Osinbajo wrote: "We are safe and sound! Thank you to everyone who has expressed concern and thank you to the crew who managed the situation well.
"We believe that God will continue to keep us and Nigeria safe even as we go higher.
"We continue #NextLevelEngagements in Kabba, Kogi State."
The Vice President accompanied his words with a video of himself inside his vehicle as he gets driven to where he has his engagements.
