The presidency has stated that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) defeat in March and April polls is only a temporary setback and not the end of the road.
This was disclosed by the political adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan, Rufai Ahmed Alkali who appealed to party supporters to use the transition period as a time for self-reflection, and to re-strategize toward capturing power at the centre in future, Daily Trust reports.
“We should all see the outcome of the presidential election as temporary setback not a full-stop in a long sentence of the political history of this great country Nigeria,” said Alkali.
