Former Vice President of Nigeria Atiku has taken a swipe at his former boss over his tenure as both President of Nigeria and petroleum minister.
While answering questions on why private investors could not get licenses for refineries during their administration, Atiku responded by pointing out that only Obasanjo could answer that question as there was no transparency or accountability during his tenure as both president and petroleum minister.
According to Leadership newspaper, he also made some other targeted remarks including the one below
“During our administration, there was no transparency and accountability in the oil and gas industry. There was a time we were handed a Ghana-must-go memo on the oil and gas and asked by the president for our input and I refused to support it”
