President Goodluck Jonathan has sworn in two federal commissioners to fill vacancies in the Civil Service Commission and Federal Character Commission in Abuja, on Wednesday, April 29.
Amb. Toye Olofuntuyi and Amb. Abdullahi Shinkafi took oath of office as commissioners at the Federal Civil Service commission and Federal Character Commission respectively before president Goodluck Jonathan. Amb. Toye Olofintuyi from Ekiti state represented Ekiti, Edo and Ondo states, while Zamfara State state was represented by Amb. Abdullahi Shinkafi.
In his remarks, President Jonathan charged the two commissioners to bring their wealth of experience to bear in their new assignment. According to him, the Federal Civil Service Commission and the Federal Character Commission are capable to stabilize the situation in the country.
