Ahead of the May 29 handover date, Enugu State governor, Sullivan Chime has vacated the Governor’s Lodge at the Government House, Enugu.
According to a top government official, who do not want his name in print, Chime had moved to his private residence at Independence Layout,
Enugu.
The movement, according to the government official, was to facilitate the renovation of the lodge for the Governor-elect, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, adding that Chime is expected to take the Governor-elect on a tour of the lodge after the renovation.
