Tinubu commented while lamenting that Nigerians have not been able to harness the full potential of modern technology.
A presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu has been mocked on social media.
This comes after he told youths to tweet on WhatsApp.
The mistake happened while he was addressing youths of the ruling party at a rally held in Lagos.
He said, “Do you know how many of you are tweeting on WhatsApp right now? [intelligible] holds a database of 1.6 billion on WhatsApp alone.”
Many have noted that one can't tweet on WhatsApp, as the term is used only for people who engage on Twitter.

Reno Omokri wrote, “According to Tinubu, “Many of you are tweeting on WhatsApp”. And he wants to be your President? This is Buhari part 2!”
Babasola Kuti in his reaction said, “Mc Oluomo’s president said you people are tweeting on WhatsApp. Then he goes on to say we started disconnecting phone numbers for NIPP (National Independent Power Project) instead of NIN. Jagaban come dey make Buhari be like person wey get PhD from Oxford.”
@OmoGbajaBiamila said, “So, did the sign language guy also interpret the “tweeting on WhatsApp…”?
