Gunmen have abducted the Nasarawa State Commissioner of information, Mohammed Yakubu Lawal and his son Mushab Mohammed.

According to Vanguard, the commissioner and his son were kidnapped at about 9 pm Monday at his residence, GRA, Nasarawa Eggon.

The gunmen were said to have later released his son.

The details of the abduction are still sketchy as the gunmen are yet to make contact with his family.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel, said the command was yet to receive a report about the commissioner’s abduction at the time of filling this report.
