Former Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa state who was detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Monday, has been released on administrative bail.
PREMIUM TIMES reports that announcing Nyako's release, Wilson Uwujaren, the spokesperson for the EFCC said Nyako was released on what he called “administrative bail”. He said the ex-governor was also released based on the basis of his age and health situation.
He was released at about 7pm on Monday evening.
The EFCC had earlier declared Nyako wanted for alleged criminal conspiracy, stealing, abuse of office and money laundering.
